Your Ambitions. Energised.
We are EQ Accountants Limited, an accounting, taxation, audit, and business advisory practice based in the East of Scotland and offering the full spectrum of solutions to meet our clients’ financial needs. Our specialisms include Agriculture, Engineering and Manufacturing, Healthcare, Leisure, Professions, Property and Construction, Technology and Charities.
We have offices in Dundee, Forfar and Glenrothes, and our teams are committed to utilising their financial and business expertise to inspire, support and encourage clients to realise their ambitions.
We have been supporting our clients since the early 1990s, but there has never been a more interesting or important time to come onboard.
Joining the EQ team at this juncture is an exciting opportunity propelled by the recent investment from Sumer Group. With an ambitious plan to triple turnover within the next five years, EQ stands as a frontrunner in Scotland’s accountancy sector.

Led by a dynamic leadership team and fuelled by strategic acquisitions, EQ is poised for growth. As part of this journey, EQ fosters a culture of development and empowerment, exemplified by employee-focused initiatives.
If you are looking for a firm that inspires development, encourages progression, and will allow you to fulfil your potential while being part of a transformative endeavour reshaping the landscape of UK accountancy, there is a rewarding career waiting for you at EQ.
Train with us
We offer an intensive training programme, the nature of our firm’s set up means we are large enough to provide interesting and varied training, but small enough to maintain personal contact with all our trainees.
We provide an unrivalled training experience, with exposure to a wide variety of assignments, both compliance and ad hoc, over a range of business sectors.
We have sufficient resource to develop a pool of highly specialised expertise, while retaining the personal care and attention that our clients and staff appreciate. The focus for our trainees is to achieve success throughout examinations and gain the required ICAS competencies.
Our graduate vacancies
We are looking to employ people with enthusiasm and commitment to provide a high quality, added value service to our clients.
In return, we’ll develop your skills in accountancy, taxation and audit and your IT & business development exposure will be substantial. As your experience grows, invariably your client exposure will increase as will your level of responsibility. To equip you to deal with this, personal skills training is provided.
We recognise that our people are key to our success and we offer a professionally rewarding career, with an emphasis on continued professional development to ensure you can fulfil your potential.
