Graduate Position – Trainee Chartered Accountant

We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Chartered Accountant to join our team.

We will provide hands-on experience across the key areas of audit and general practice accounting which will form a solid basis for graduates as they embark on a career in accountancy.  We encourage our students to take ownership of their work, enabling them to flourish in a flexible, supportive work environment.

The role will offer a huge variety in clients, colleagues and work load.  We have a diverse client base and work with businesses ranging from unincorporated and family firms to companies with multi-million-pound turnovers.

You will be based in our office in Inverness with occasional travel to client sites across the North East and the central belt.

As part of the CA training programme, graduates attend several ICAS block release classes as they study towards the CA qualification.  We support our trainees during this process with time off to attend classes, paid study leave and other assistance as required.

Candidates looking to apply for this position should have a good understanding of the CA training programme, with a strong academic record, excellent attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.  Applications are welcome from graduates who have/expect to have a minimum 2.1 degree in a recognised academic subject.
