The Role

We are one big team at AAB and we look for people who want to join our firm and play their part in developing our business as a whole. Our vision is to pioneer integrated advisory solutions in partnership with our clients, and to do this we need a strong team of chartered accountants + business advisors. Successful applicants are offered a three-year training contract, working in either our Aberdeen or Edinburgh offices, and on top of a generous professional study package, trainees are offered a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Entry Requirements

Competition for one of our trainee positions is strong, therefore we are looking for strong academic performance throughout school and university. We accept applicants from any degree background, along with the following entry requirements:

  • 2:1 degree with honours (with offers made conditional on final degree results)
  • AABB at Higher level (or equivalent)
  • Minimum B grade in both English and Maths at National 5 (or equivalent)
  • Credit is given to those with accounting/financial related work experience
  • A passion for pursuing a career in an accountancy and business advisory firm
