Your Ambitions. Energised.
At EQ, people are at the heart of what we do.
As a modern, energetic accounting practice, we aim to inspire; supporting and encouraging you to consider your vision and realise your ambitions.
Our organisational culture and working practices facilitate personal growth and knowledge sharing in an inspiring, encouraging, friendly and supportive environment.
With a strong training ethos and non–departmentalised work structure, we are able to provide our people with a diverse training experience.
In recent years we’ve been shortlisted for ‘Tremendous Learning and Development’ and ‘Exceptional Employee Engagement’ at the cHeRries Awards and one of our CA’s was ICAS’ ‘One Young CA’ in 2018/19.
Train with us
We offer an intensive training programme and the size of our firm means we are large enough to provide interesting and varied training, but small enough to maintain personal contact with all our trainees.
We provide an unrivalled training experience, with exposure to a wide variety of assignments, both compliance and ad hoc, over a range of business sectors.
We have sufficient resource to develop a pool of highly specialised expertise, whilst retaining the personal care and attention that our clients and staff appreciate. The focus for our trainees is to achieve success throughout examinations and gain the required ICAS competencies.
We are looking to employ staff with enthusiasm and commitment to provide a high quality, added value service to our clients.
In return, we’ll develop your skills in accountancy, taxation and audit and your IT & business development exposure will be substantial. As your experience grows, invariably your client exposure will increase as will your level of responsibility. To equip you to deal with this, personal skills training is provided.
We are able to offer a professionally rewarding career, with an emphasis on continued professional development – we recognise that our people are our key resource.
Our minimum requirement is an Honours degree (2:1 or above) in any discipline.
We will first look at applicants who have at least 300 UCAS points (old tariff, 125 new tariff) and no requirement for a work permit over the initial 3 year training contract.
The closing date for applications is Friday, 23 October 2020.
