We are now accepting applications for our 2025 Chartered Accountant training programme based in our Dundee office. This is a three-year fixed-term contract where you will receive extensive support and mentoring, helping you smoothly transition from university to your professional career. During your training contract you will be:

• Given the opportunity early on to work on a variety of clients, ranging from owner managed businesses to major family-owned and multinational companies and not for profit organisations
• Developing your business advisory skills through our HL Training Academy
• Covering a variety of tasks, enabling you to grow personally as well as professionally
• Working in a busy, high performing team, constantly learning from those around you as part of your on-the-job training
• Given study and exam leave to ensure you pass your exams
• Supported throughout your training contract, both financially and by people who have successfully completed the ICAS qualification

What we are looking for:

• A good level of education and academic ability (Minimum 2:1, any subject)
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• A demonstrable interest in business and financial issues
• A well-developed sense of client service
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive and analytical approach to problem solving
• Works well under pressure and rises to a challenge
